One day, Raymond Depardon said NY is one of the most photogenic city in the world. I guess, the statement makes sense. Therefore, NY is also a vivacious and top-notch center for photography. Aperture is one of them. The galery, opened in 2005, was formely a magazine founded by a few people among them Ansel Adams, Dorothea Lange, Barbara Morgan and Minor White. Since then, Aperture keeps alive the founders’ spirit and still publishes the magazine and books. Its location, far in Chelsea, shouldn’t stop people going there.
