New York Magazine versus Burberry

Since last thrusday, the Burberry sign replaced  the New York -magazine- sign on top of the building on 444 Madison. A significant change that shows our times. With the recession, luxury brands cut their communication budgets and advertises way much less.But that’s where magazines took the money from to handle their  expenses. So, they had to lay off. The NYTimes had even a temporary 5 percent pay cut and some magazines run out of business…. Not only  the brands take on the drop of the press but they might rule the world … RB ©G.
